Showly is run by VIP-50 LLC, 165 S Regent, Salt Lake City, UT 84111. When this page says “we” it means VIP-50 LLC. When it says “you” it means the person with the Showly account.
Showly is a tool for real estate agents. You capture each home on a buyer tour — a few photos, a voice note, the facts off the MLS sheet — and Showly turns it into a recap page you send to your buyer. Loan officers can subscribe to have their card appear on the recaps of agents who invite them.
Showly is software. It is not a brokerage, not a lender, and not a party to any real estate transaction. Nothing it produces is advice, an appraisal, or a representation about a property. What you send your client is your work and your responsibility.
New accounts get a free trial that ends at 14 days or 3 tours, whichever comes first. We take your card when you sign up but charge nothing during the trial.
When the trial ends — either because 14 days have passed, or because you’ve created your third tour, whichever happens first — your card is charged and your subscription starts. Creating that third tour is what ends the trial; it isn’t a separate decision you make later.
After that you’re billed every month or every year until you cancel. One trial per account: if you cancel and come back, you start paying straight away.
You can cancel yourself, any time, from Your plan on your profile screen in the app. It takes one tap and opens Stripe’s billing page, where you can also change your card or download invoices. You don’t have to email us and we won’t make you talk to anyone.
We don’t automatically refund unused time — that’s what the trial is for. But if Showly was broken, if you were charged for something you didn’t mean to buy, or if something has plainly gone wrong, email us and we’ll make it right. We would rather refund you than argue with you.
Showly holds information about people who never signed up for it: your buyers’ names, what they said about a house, and sometimes their voices. That is your client relationship, not ours. You are responsible for having the right to record and to enter their information.
Recording laws differ by state. Some require every person in the conversation to consent, not just you. Before you hold the record button while a client is talking, make sure you know the rule where you are and that they know they’re being recorded. We can’t do that for you.
When you send a recap, it becomes a web page with a long, unguessable address. It isn’t listed anywhere or indexed by search engines, but anyone who has the link can open it — that’s what makes it easy for your buyer to view and forward. Treat a recap link the way you’d treat an email containing the same information.
If you connect a loan officer, they can see the homes on your tours, the asking prices, your buyer’s first name, and how each home was rated. They do not see your voice notes, your private notes, or the feedback you draft for listing agents.
Agents and loan officers each pay for their own seat. Neither pays for the other, and nobody is paid for a referral. You can disconnect a lender at any time with one switch, for a single tour or permanently.
We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, that is being used to harm someone, or where we’re required to by law. If it isn’t urgent we’ll warn you first and give you a chance to fix it. If we close your account without cause, we’ll refund the unused part of what you’ve paid.
We work hard to keep Showly running and accurate, but it’s provided “as is”. In particular, the sheet reader uses automated recognition and gets things wrong sometimes — that’s why the app asks you to check what it read before you send. Figures on a recap are your responsibility, not ours.
To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost commissions or lost business. Where liability can’t be excluded, it is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the problem.
We’ll post any changes here and update the date at the top. If a change matters to what you pay or what we do with your information, we’ll tell you directly rather than leaving you to notice.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, and disputes go to the courts of Salt Lake County, Utah.
