Privacy Policy

Note for review. Drafted in-house, not yet reviewed by an attorney. It describes what Showly actually stores and sends today. If you spot something that doesn’t match the product, the product is right and this page needs fixing — tell us.

Showly is run by VIP-50 LLC, 165 S Regent, Salt Lake City, UT 84111.

Two kinds of people are in here

This matters, so it goes first.

Agents and loan officers sign up, pay us, and have an account. We decide what to do with that information, and this policy covers it.

Buyers never signed up for anything. Their names, what they said about a house and sometimes their voices are in Showly because their agent put them there. For that information we act on the agent’s instructions — the agent decides what goes in, who sees it and when it’s deleted. If you’re a buyer and want your information changed or removed, ask your agent first; if you can’t reach them, email us and we’ll help.

What we hold

WhatWhy
Your name, email, phone, brokerage, licence number, photo To put your details on the recaps you send, and to sign you in
For loan officers: company, NMLS number, address To show on the recaps of agents who connect you
Home addresses, prices, beds, baths, square footage, photos of homes To build the recap
Your voice notes, and the text we make from them To write the “what you said” line, and to draft listing-agent feedback
Buyer first names, email addresses you enter, their yes / maybe / no ratings To send the recap and show you how they answered
An address a buyer commutes to To work out drive times from each home
Whether and when a recap link was opened So you know if your client has seen it
Payment status, plan, and the last four digits from Stripe To know whether the account is active

We never see or store your full card number. Card details are entered on Stripe’s own page and stay with Stripe.

Who else touches it

We keep this list short on purpose, and we don’t sell anything to anyone.

We’ll also hand over information if the law properly requires it. If that ever happens and we’re allowed to tell you, we will.

Recap links are shareable by design

A recap is a web page with a long, unguessable address. It isn’t listed anywhere and search engines don’t index it, but anyone holding the link can open it — which is the point, so your buyer can look at it and forward it to their partner. If a recap contains something you wouldn’t email, don’t put it in a recap.

What a connected loan officer sees

Only this: the homes on your tours, their asking prices, your buyer’s first name, and how each home was rated. Never your voice notes, your private notes, or the feedback you draft for listing agents. You can disconnect a lender at any time.

How long we keep it

While your account is open, we keep your tours so you can open and re-send them. If you close your account we delete your data within 90 days, except records we have to keep for tax and accounting. Ask us to delete something sooner and we will, unless we’re required to keep it.

Your choices

Recording people

Showly can record a buyer’s voice. Consent laws differ by state and some require everyone in the conversation to agree. The agent doing the recording is responsible for that, not us. Please tell people they’re being recorded.

Security

Everything travels encrypted. Each account can only reach its own data, enforced by the database itself rather than by the app asking nicely. Access to payment information is limited to Stripe. No system is perfect; if we ever have a breach that affects you, we’ll tell you promptly and plainly.

Children

Showly is a professional tool and isn’t for anyone under 18. We don’t knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

Changes get posted here with a new date at the top. If something material changes about what we collect or who we send it to, we’ll tell you directly.
